New Spoken Word Series

I'm a fan of all types of music and I habe a special passion for heavy metal music. Judas Priest, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc were my mainstays growing. Then I encountered Metallica's music and my world was blown open, but that's a story for another post.

I have a fascination for lyrics from songs by some of these bands. Rob Halford of Judas Priest is a fave. His wordplay, his ability to make up words if he needs to, and his imagery and storytelling is, imo, exceptional. 

I've started a new series on my YouTube channel where I'll be doing spoken word covers, or straight recitatio of my favorites. Breaking the Law on YouTube

Leo, I've just discovered your music and love it. Your version of Just Like Heaven is great! Did you use standard tuning for it? I also love lyrics and word play. I will check out Judas Priest . There is a Scottish band, the trash can sinatras, who have especially great word play. If interested check out their first two albums.. One lyric of theirs I particularly love is " You came into my life like a brick through a window, and I cracked a smile". Thanks for all your work. Best wishes, Peter
