George Benson

Today I was listening to one of those daily mixes that Spotify creates for you and heard this 1968 instrumental for the first time. Cool, bluesy groove.

I was a George Benson fan when I was a kid, but the On Broadway/Give Me The Night Benson.  I found out he was an awesome guitar player later on, and I think it was when I first heard "Mr. Clean" by Freddie Hubbard on which Benson and Herbie Hancock play from an awesome album, Straight Life.
